PHIRNI



Phirni

It's a famous dessert made during Ramzan all over the world ,its made of rice and milk.

Ingredients

 5 servings
  1. 1 ltr full fat milk
  2. 2 tbsp basmati rice
  3. 1/4 th cup sugar
  4. 1 tsp cardamon powder
  5. Some strings of Kesar

Steps

  1. First soak 2 tbsp of basmati rice atleast for 30 min and then grind it coarsely.Take heavy bottom pan and add milk to it bring it to boil by stirring in between till it starts becoming thick.

  2. When you find milk thick add coarsely grind rice Next add sugar and keep on stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

  3. Next add saffron milk which I have kept before to soak in a warm milk used 2 tbsp of milk for that add this to the firni it will change colour next add cardamom powder and mix well everything and keep on stirring till it becomes thick when it is done keep to cool down and refrigerate to get chilled and serve this delicious dessert chilled.
