- 1 cup white peas(safed watana)
- 5 small potatoes
- To taste Salt
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 cup curd
- For garnishing
- As needed Peanuts roasted
- As needed Roasted spicy dal
- As needed Sev
- As needed Green chutney
- As needed Tangy tamarind chutney
- 1 tsp Chaat masala
Steps
First soak white watana overnight or if you want you can keep for 3 to 4hrs but you have to soak watana in hot boiled water so quickly it will get soft then pressure cook watana with peeled potatoes by adding 4 to 5 cups of water along with turmeric and salt and let it whistle atleast 7 to 8 times so that everything gets cooked well it should be soft.Next take curd add sugar and whisk it and keep aside.
