Curd Rice


 

Curd rice

The fastest recepie can be made on short time you can have in lunch or dinner good during sumer season to have curd rice.

 30 min 

Ingredients

 2 servings
  1. 1 cup rice
  2. 11 /2 cup curd
  3. To taste Salt
  4. For tempering
  5. 1 tsp urad dal
  6. 1 tsp chana dal
  7. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  8. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  9. 1 dried red chilli
  10. 1 green chilli split
  11. 1/2 inch ginger crushed
  12. As needed Curry leaves
  13. 1 tbsp grated carrot
  14. 2 tbsp oil
  15. 1 tsp Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Steps

  1. Pressure cook rice with adding salt as per taste and when it is done let it cool down then add curd don't add curd in hot rice otherwise it will curdled.Next keep ingredient for tempering.

  2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add chana dal,cumin seeds,mustard seeds,curry leaves,urad dal red chilli let it splutter then add grated ginger,red chilli,green chilli and saute well all together and last add grated carrot and add this tempering to the rice and mix well and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot curd rice.
