Baked potato pattice
Ingredients
- For Dough--
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/2 cup water for kneading
- For slurry to spread on wraps
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour or corn flour
- 3 tbsp ghee
- For filling--
- 4 medium sized potatoes
- 1 cup frozen or boiled green peas
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp grated ginger or paste
- 1 tsp jeera
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp amchur powder
- 1 tsp chat masala
- as per taste Salt
- 1 tsp ajwain
- 1 pinch hing
- 2 small green chilli chopped
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Steps
Take mixing bowl for kneading dough add all purpose flour and oil and start kneading by adding water in part keep the dough hard and keep for 15 minutes by covering with cloth. Next, make slurry a smooth paste of all purpose flour or cornflour with adding ghee it should be very smooth paste which we are going to apply on sheets.
Take out the dough and knead again for 5 minutes and make parts of the entire dough and roll round in shape and it should be thin layer then cut in square shape and next out of that square shape make 4 square pcs and keep doing this process same for the other dough parts here I have made for 4 Pattice. Next, take one square apply the paste made and sprinkle some ajwain then again place another and repeat the process for 4 layers for one pattice.
Take the pattice layered, place the stuffing in the centre and close into triangle shape from sides do this process for remaining pattice squares for one pattice cover use 4 square layer placing one by one on each other by greasing the paste made do remember this step and then prepared all the pattice and place in the oven for 20 minutes on 200° and in between greasy some butter on top it gives good colour when baked. Enjoy potatoes pattice bakery-style at home.
